Launching our new Selentis collection
On the 9th of september we launched our new Selentis collection at the Architect @ Work expo in Rotterdam. Visitors of the expo have had a chance to look at these new brand new additions to our ever growing alabaster product family. Now that the expo is over, we are ready to show them to the rest of the world. The Selentis family is build in three different shapes: circular, organic and linear. In addition, the organic and round shapes are available in two different sizes. This makes the family very versatile, since they can be used individually or placed together in beautiful constellations on the wall.

The natural translucency of alabaster allows for a soft, diffuse distribution of light, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Each piece of natural alabaster stone is uniquely veined, ensuring that no two examples are ever the same. Gypsum alabaster is a translucent type of stone composed of partially crystallized gypsum. It is typically found in nodular forms in regions such as Italy, Spain, and Egypt. The outer surface of alabaster nodules often features irregularities, with clay residues and earthy inclusions embedded within the stone. These natural impurities are a hallmark of alabaster, contributing to its distinctive charm.
